Educating world-class academics

EMLYON Business School’s Ph.D. in Management aims at educating first-rate academics for universities around the world. Through the program, students acquire a thorough understanding of theories and methods in management. Working closely with faculty members, they also gain knowledge as to the latest developments in research. In line with the school’s philosophy, an emphasis is put on entrepreneurship, international business, and the relationships between business and society.

The program is entirely taught in English, by highly regarded scholars. It lasts for four years, with the first two involving most of the courses and seminars. Students work closely with faculty members on research projects prior to focus on their doctoral dissertation. Areas of specialization include different domains in management (organization theory, organizational behavior, international management, strategic management, etc.) as well as entrepreneurship.

The best admitted students receive a scholarship covering tuition fees and a generous stipend.
