Chair of Emerging Economies and Technologies
The Chair of Emerging Economies and Technologies (C.E.E.T)

The steering committee of the Chair unites senior managers from the international actors in the information services industries.  Inaugural members include representatives from CSC, Microsoft, and Oracle and Orange Business Systems.


The Chair of Emerging Economies and Technologies provides a key link between experts and organizations in leveraging information technology to promote innovative business practice.

In the area of higher education, the Chair offers a wide range of business technology courses and workshops to explore the organizational challenges of successfully leveraging technology to enhance business processes and networks. In the field of applied research, the Chair coordinates research of IT implementations underlying the importance of local visions, experience and culture.

The Chair produces content and structure helping business communities learn about the business value of information technology. Finally, the Chair participates in European R&D projects and other national or international projects of common interest.

Current objectives include developing innovative research in emerging technologies (Web 2.0, social media, and unified communications), emerging services (customer focused, peer to peer, and shared, multiple channel), organizations (business networks, extended enterprises, virtual organizations) and economies (transitional, high growth, service based).
